Do I need a Visa for my travel?

Of course! You really do. Seriously, depending on your nationality and the places that you will visit a visa might be needed. Please contact the consulate of the country that you are intending to visit before you book your flight.

Do I need a Passport when I travel?

If you are traveling to another country, you must have a valid passport which matches the FIRST and LAST name of your ticket. Furthermore, your passport must be valid at least six months upon conclusion of your travel.

What time should I be at the airport to check in for my scheduled flight?

For international flights, we always advice our customers to be at the airport at least 3 hours before their flight schedule. For domestic flights be at the airport at least 2 hours before your scheduled flight.

What identification is required when I check in?

Your passport is the best identification that you must have during check in. For domestic travel, a government issued photo ID (Drivers license, Green card, Citizenship card, etc.) is acceptable.

Is there a need to reconfirm my flights?

A big YES to that! It is a must that you reconfirm flight 72 hours prior to departure directly with the airline. This is a very important step that must be made a practice every time you make travel arrangement. By doing so, you are not only double checking your reservation but will also be made aware of any changes that the airlines made with your scheduled flight with them. Airlines sometimes change their schedules shortly before the flight date and so by reconfirming your flight you will not be caught unprepared with this changes. Also, on the business side, the airline companies want to make sure that their flight does not leave with empty seats. Therefore, they will sometimes cancel reservation of passengers who have not reconfirmed, specially if the flight is full.

Can I request for a seat number in advance?

This depends on the airline. Some airlines will allow you to pre-assign your seats, while others will only assign your seats upon check-in. If you have a seat preference please contact the airline to assign that particular seat or request a seat assignment from your travel agent in their link with the airlines. Please keep in mind that your seat preference may not be available.

Are airline tickets refundable? Transferable?

Depending on the airline and the contract under which the tickets are purchased, IT MAY BE PARTLY refundable BUT under certain conditions. Some airline contracts WOULD allow refunds with 25% deducted from the price plus penalties, some would deduct 50% plus penalties.
Transferable? Unfortunately airline tickets are NOT transferable.
If you find yourself in a situation that you cannot travel, please contact us or your travel representative who will gladly explain the options you have and help you make a well informed decision.

Can I change my travel dates after I have purchased and my tickets are issued?

In most cases, changes in the DEPARTURE date are always charged penalties by the airlines. You may also pay more for an upgrade in class of service in case the new date you chose to depart falls on a busy day and an upgrade in class of service is necessary or if taxes have changed.
In certain cases you may not even have the option of changing the date of travel even with penalty.
Upon your RETURN, some airlines have loosened their restrictions on changes on return dates. Some will allow change of return dates without penalties as long as you rebooked your return on the same class of service of your original booking. And if an upgrade is necessary, they will ask you to pay additional for the upgrade. Some airlines will not allow changes at all.
So, it is advisable that you PLAN YOUR TRIP CAREFULLY to avoid date changes whenever possible. If you think that you must make necessary changes to your travel date, please contact us and we will advise you of the best way to go about the changes.

How much should I pay for an infant? A child?

An infant is a child under two years of age not occupying a seat. An infant is usually charged 10% of accompanying adult fare. One infant, one accompanying adult is the usual rule.
And only a maximum of 2 infants can avail of this special infant fare. Each additional infant (child under 2 years of age) accompanying the same adult passenger will pay the applicable accompanied child's fare whether they are occupying a seat or not.
Once children reach their second birthday, they must be seated in an approved seat. For this, they will fall under a child fare. And for a child passenger, usually the airline will charge 75% of adult fare.
Be aware that every airline have different set of rules regarding infant and child fare. Use the above only as general guideline. Your travel agent can provide you with this infant fare ruling or call the airlines directly.
